Want to write better Selection Criteria? You’ve come to the right place. Criterial is the place for next-level Selection Criteria training and strategies.
Criterial was started by Richard Branch in 2018 because of his frustration with conducting a recruitment process for a government role.
Unsatisfied with seeing good candidates not get shortlisted only because they could not complete government selection criteria, he decided he could sit and complain, or do something about fixing it. Criterial was born.
Drawing on 20 years of government recruitment training and experience, particularly through reading thousands of responses to selection criteria, Richard has helped hundreds of applicants by putting all that knowledge and experience into easy to follow, self paced, cheap online courses that will take you step by step through the process.
The courses begin with reading a position description, including all the important value and mission content, through understanding what the role requires, and then very importantly how to write a response using the STAR method. They also cover understanding your key career examples, and using them in both applications and job interviews.
Initially assisting people on AirTasker and later formatting the same advice and skills into an online training format, he breaks the application process down into easy to follow, step by step, 3-4 minute lessons, and, applies his decades of experience into explaining to you what you need to know and how to apply it.
These lessons are compiled into online courses which you can take when it’s convenient for you. You’ll learn the specific skills across the whole application process:
- Reading the position description
- Picking the work experience you’ve had that will showcase your skills
- Using STAR model to write an easy to read, on point application
The aim is to get an interview for the role you want today, and in the future.
